Hello my vibrant friends,
How are you all doing?
Today is my last day of my holidays ~ which makes me sad. I could have done with another couple of weeks off, but hey – I am very grateful for what I have had.
In the time that I have had off – I have lost 4 kilos and reduced my body fat by 16.5 cm all over my body. I have done a juice cleanse/fast/thingy (that’s what I am calling it…LOL), and I have also done exercise and rested a lot. My juice cleanse/fast/thingy….or as it will be known from now on JCFT….made me think a lot about what I am putting into my body. I don’t want to go back to the way I was eating and want to have good healthy fruits, vegetables, nuts and seeds in my diet.
Going back to work is going to be my biggest challenge…as the smell of everyone else’s food will no doubt get to me…but I have a plan in place that will (hopefully) help me – I am going to take 2 juices, 1 smoothie and a few items like grapes, celery, carrots, walnuts etc., to munch on should I get the “food attacks”. I also want to have my juice just before lunch time and then go for a walk (when the weather is good), just to get out of the office.
If I find I am putting on too much weight I will do another JCFT – possible on the weekends to try to put more nutrients into my body.
At the moment I am sitting out on our patio with a roaring fire in the pot belly, listening to the wind and the rain ~ with a nice cup of peppermint tea… I am just psyching myself up to go out into the gym and do my workout….
Today has been a good day for a last day of holidays, things achieved, things to look forward to (especially losing more weight and gaining health for the winter months).
