When I first heard about RAW foods (in about 2010), I thought people who were into it were crazy, here’s another FAD diet that won’t last long, and that I would hear about these people having major health problems in the future…..that didn’t happen!!
What I did hear and see a couple of years later, were the results of great health, slim bodies, great skin & hair, illnesses clearing up ~ even major ones like cancer, heart disease, COPD, Liver & Kidney disease, Fibromyalgia, Diabetes, Chrones disease and the list goes on and on…
It started me thinking and researching into this CRAZY LIFESTYLE…because I want me some of that health & vitality!!
I started googling THE RAW FOOD DIET and looked at any You Tube videos that I could find. There were (and are) heaps of them to help a person get started….but beware, a lot of them are just out there to make money…I needed to find this information out for free, as I don’t have a lot of the ol’ casheola!!

I started my RAW food experience just by adding more uncooked fruits and vegetables in my diet, and also juicing fruits and vegetables too…I found within a short period of time that I had a lot more energy, my skin cleared up and I felt better….I didn’t lose any weight at this stage, but I can probably put that down to the other “crap” food I was eating as well.
I have only been into RAW foods a short while, since the beginning of 2013 ~ not that I have totally stuck to a 100% RAW diet, I have had cooked foods here and there (especially in winter), this is mainly due to the fact that here in good old Adelaide it is hard to find good quality/ripe & cheap fruits and vegetables, especially organic……but I can tell you that I feel heaps better when I stick to a RAW food diet.
I have a long way to go until I am totally RAW, but I am working on it daily, and I will share my experiences along the way.
